Hiya everyone! It’s been a few days, I know – I wound up having to miss Traffic Exchange Live on Friday due to some personal offline stuff that needed doing, and then I kinda wound up taking the weekend basically “off” (if TE people can ever really “take off”, LOL) ‘cos some more stuff needed doing.
But I’m back in the groove today with Thursday’s TE Live update comin’ right atcha. If there was a theme on Thursday, everything seemed to be about food and I’m not exactly sure why – it just started out that way then kinda stayed that way! Anyhow, here we go!
Tasty Thursday on Traffic Exchange Live:
Jon Olson, Tim Linden, and John Guanzon were all aboard the Thursday TE Live train.
Some discussion of my virus removal problems the night before, which was a little unusual and quite disturbing.
Jon cooks super hot chili.
John told a story about his grandmother, feral cats, chicken & dumplings. And that’s really ALL you want to know about that story. :-)
Jon bought a Slap Chop Wednesday night (see Thursday’s post for pic).
The Slap Chop is going to make Jon’s life exciting.
Jon has a craving for dirty rice, SlapChopped onions.
Jon’s son was on cam for a bit and said hi to the room. He asked his dad to make shrimp rolls.
Jon can make shrimp rolls now that he has his Slap Chop.
Tim showed us what I think was a new photo of a Rhode Island lighthouse (that I now can’t find or just can’t remember which one it is). You can see all of his awesome Rhode Island photography here.
Jerry Iannucci was missing again on Thursday. It’s very odd at TE Live (well, more odd than usual) when Jerry’s not there because he’s ALWAYS there.
Quite a bit of discussion in the room about conversions for Traffic Exchange Solutions and Affiliate Jumpstart. It seems that several who had great conversion rates with the former aren’t having as much luck with the latter, and vice versa.
The Foot almost took Jon’s food away.
John needed to go, and the other two called it a day shortly afterwards, thus ended TE Live for Thursday.
ALSO ON THE SCENE: Brenda Broyles, Charles Smith, Stephen Whittle, Wanda Robinson, James Holmes, Brett Phillips, Diane Merriam, Ian Bakewell, Carl Bailey, James Vest, Annette R., Paul Brown, Lynne Sherman, Martin, Melody Smith, Sean Supplee – and of course, Winter Perkins and Randy Ritter.
So, Lynn M. Has Bananas: I’m so happy! I LOVE fruit, but I almost never buy any since it’s just me here for now and it inevitably usually goes bad before I eat it all, but I bought some bananas today and am soooo psyched. I also twisted my foot really bad (ow! ow! ow!) while at the store, but that’s another story… ugh.
